Hi, I’m Thelma! 🐾 I’m a 7-month-old Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and so much love to give. I didn’t have the easiest start in life, but I’m making amazing progress every day and learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I can be a little cautious at first, but I warm up quickly—and once I do, I bond deeply with my people. I adore humans of all ages, including small children and babies!! I’ve even met a cat and didn’t seem very interested which I hear is a good thing. I’m a gentle, sweet girl who just wants to be close to my people. I have a previously broken elbow that has healed, so I will need ongoing exercises to keep me strong and comfortable as I grow. Trust me my elbow doesn’t slow me down! My foster mom says I’ve already come such a long way! Because I love my people so much, I can feel a bit anxious when they leave. I go into my kennel on my own, but I get very anxious —I just miss you! With patience, love, and consistency, I’ll continue to build confidence. My foster mom is so proud of how far I’ve come, and she knows my perfect forever family is out there. I’m ready to keep growing, loving, and living my BEST life!
