100% Volunteer run
Thank you for choosing to volunteer with BEDR!
We are a non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers with big hearts.
There are lots of opportunities to help that are fun, flexible, and suited to your passions and skill sets.
You’ll never be alone, and there’s lots of support along the way!
Check out a few examples below.
All year round and all over the province we host a variety of events to showcase adoptable dogs and raise awareness. From running info booths, set up / take down, selling tickets etc. there’s lots of ways to help.
From bake sales, raffels, selling drink tickets at weddings, auctions and more! Work with us to host your own fundraiser, or be an extra pair of hands for BEDR’s.
Join our media team to help with social media posts and monitoring, developing graphics, posters, videos, and website editing. Creativity is encouraged!
If you love to work from home and have great typing skills and attention to detail, this position is for you. We always need help with data entry and record keeping.
Short trips to the vet, long trips to pick up new dogs coming into care, or picking up supplies that are donated to BEDR, all of these require a driver that loves a sidekick or two (or three or four). We have a BEDR van!
