Hi, I’m Josie 🤍 I’m a 5–6 month old Shepherd mix with the perfect mix of sweet, snuggly, and goofy puppy energy. I was found very sick with parvo, and now that I’m feeling better, my main goals in life are gaining my weight back, collecting as many toys as possible, and staying approximately two inches away from my humans at all times. Foster mom says I’m basically her little shadow. Right now I’m in that hilarious lanky puppy stage where my legs seem way too long for the rest of me, so I spend a lot of time bouncing, flopping, and running around like a baby deer on ice. It keeps everyone entertained. I LOVE toys, cuddles, and greeting my people at the door with full body wiggles (don’t worry, no jumping here). I sleep curled up beside my humans all night and would happily be a professional snuggler if that was a real career path. I’m amazing with other dogs and adore my foster dog siblings. I also live with two tiny humans (3 & 5), and I love to play with them. I’m about 95% house trained, do great being left home outside of a kennel, and am working hard on my puppy manners. Food is VERY exciting to me right now while I gain weight back, so I do occasionally put my paws on the counter to investigate snacks, but I’m super smart, very treat motivated, and learning quickly. Overall, I’m just a really loving, happy little girl looking for a family to grow up with!
