Hi! I’m a sweet, gentle boy who is still learning that the world can be a safe place. I can be pretty shy when I first meet someone, and sometimes my favourite thing to do is find a cozy hiding spot while I figure everything out. I just need a little patience and time to build my confidence and trust. Once I decide you’re one of my people, though, my foster family says I am the absolute sweetest. I have a really calm and relaxed demeanour, but I also love to play! I’m gentle, loyal, and a very good listener. I’m a smart boy too—I already know “sit” and I’m working hard on “lay down.” I love learning and do especially well when I have a consistent routine. I’m still a puppy, so I do love to chew things and I’m continuing to work on my house training. A solid routine helps me so much, and I’m making great progress. My dream home would be with someone patient, loving, calm, and understanding who will give me the time I need to come out of my shell. I’d love a home where I can have a dependable routine, lots of gentle encouragement, plenty of playtime, and people who will celebrate all the little wins with me. Give me a little time to trust you, and I promise there is one incredibly loving and loyal boy waiting underneath all that shyness.
