Hello, I'm Chiclets. I'm sharing my story in hopes of finding my forever home. My past experiences were challenging due to my tiny size and lack of companionship. My rescue required a frightening long drive. I was taken to a foster home, where I met Zoey, a big red dog who became my protector. With her guidance, I'm learning to navigate the world. However, I'm still extremely timid around humans and require patience and understanding. I'm eager to find a home with another dog, as being alone causes me significant distress. I'm scared in kennels without a dog and struggle on leash without one. My separation anxiety is triggered when Zoey goes on outings without me but my foster mom has a dog carrier which I am content in supervising the walk. Despite my fears, I've made small progress and can now cuddle a few times with humans and engage in play. Potty training is ongoing, with some setbacks due to fear. I'm a kind and gentle companion, and I believe I'd thrive in a home with another dog.
