Hi, I’m Ike! 💕 I may be a small little pup in a very big world, but with a little patience, a gentle heart, and someone to believe in me, I know I’m going to grow into the best boy I can be. My favourite place to be? Curled up on your lap, soaking up all the cuddles I can get. I love snuggling with my fur foster sisters and my own sister, too. Honestly, if there’s a cozy spot and someone to cuddle with, I’m a happy little guy. 🥹❤️ When I’m at work with Mom, you’ll often find me tucked near her feet under her desk. At home, I love curling up beside my sister under something cozy. I guess you could say I’m a professional snuggler in training! I can be a little shy when I’m somewhere new, and sometimes I need a bit of time to feel safe. The world is still a big place, and I’m still learning that even a little guy like me can find his confidence in it. But once I start to feel comfortable, my playful side comes out! I love wrestling and playing with my sisters, and it’s wonderful having them close by while I figure things out. My foster siblings are also helping me learn my manners and boundaries. Mom says I take corrections like a champ and catch on quickly. I’m trying my best every day, and with someone who understands that confidence takes time, I know I’ll keep blossoming. 🌱 I’m doing pretty well with my pee pad training, with just a few little accidents along the way. I’m also learning to keep my kennel clean. I’ve spent a few hours at a time in there, and I sleep in it overnight. Mom reminds me that learning to be comfortable for longer periods comes with age, and I’m taking things one little paw at a time. 🐾 As much as I love playing with my sisters, I’m also happy doing my own thing. I don’t need to be the center of attention all the time. Sometimes, I just need a cozy place, a little peace, and the comfort of knowing I’m safe. What I’m really looking for is someone with a patient heart. Someone who will let me take my time, gently guide me when things feel overwhelming, celebrate my little victories, and remind me that I’m braver than I sometimes think. I may need a little extra reassurance in the beginning, but I have so much love to give once I know I’m home.
