Hi, I’m Indi. I’m small, but I act like I’m the one in charge of this house. My foster sister the pug has corrected me on this several times. I’ve chosen to ignore her. She is my favorite playmate. We wrestle on the couch, and I ambush her from behind the cushions. I do not always win, but I never accept the results. My foster brother weighs 90 pounds and is so gentle with me that I’ve decided he’s mine. I climb him like furniture and he has never once complained. I’m not sure he’s allowed to. I love my food. I’ll be at my bowl before you finish pouring, and I will supervise the entire process loudly. At night I sleep in my crate next to my foster siblings and don’t make a peep until morning. I’ll walk in on my own if there’s a treat inside. I’m not above being bribed. I’m not even slightly above it. I’m working on house training. I’m pretty good at hitting the pee pad, and I’ll go outside too. Some days I’m more consistent than others, and I’d like to be judged on my best days. I like toys, and I carry them around like it’s my job. I’ve also stolen a few that weren’t mine. No regrets. But cuddling is the real reason I get up in the morning. I will find your lap, turn around exactly twice, and settle in. If you stand up, I will take it personally and file a complaint. I’ll tuck my head under your chin, go heavy and warm, and fall asleep on you like it was the plan all along. Sitting on the couch without a dog on you is technically possible, but I don’t recommend it. I’m available for full-time lap duty. Apply within.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
