Hi, I’m Luca! I love to play, whether with my foster siblings, humans, or by myself. Sometimes I have a lot of energy, but lots of the time I love to nap and even more, I love to snuggle up close. I am a loyal boy and I love to be wherever the humans are. I sleep in my kennel all night now! Sometimes I am a vocal boy if I spend time in my kennel during the day, I am a husky after all, but I eventually settle. I am almost house trained and I am working on learning to use the door bells to let the humans know I want to go outside. I am very food motivated and smart! I love to learn new commands for treats. I have a bit of a prey drive and sometimes like to chase cats, but I’ve come a long way in learning not to! I had a bit of a rough start in life, so sometimes I like to protect my food and special treats. I get pretty excited at food o’clock, but I’m happy to chow down in my kennel. I am great with children, but it will be important for my new family to know that I might need a little space sometimes around my food and treats. I thrive with praise and I will be a great companion for a family that has time to play with me and stimulate my smart little brain lots. I am pretty good at puzzle toys and using my nose is lots of fun for me. I am an entertaining little guy, especially when I get the zoomies or wrestle with other dogs. In true husky fashion, I make some pretty funny noises sometimes! I have a lot of love and cuddles to give my forever family, will that be you?
