Hey guys, I'm Rebel. I'm a 10/10 certified good girl on the hunt for my family. My breed you ask? That's anyones guess - but my mom tells me I'm the best mixture of love and crazy girl. I am about 60lbs. I might fill out a bit more but I'm essentially done growing and am the perfect size for any family. A little background about me, I came into Bright Eyes care heavily pregnant at the end of September. The day after I arrived at my foster moms house, my water broke and early labor signs started but never progressed. I ended up at the vet and they told me I had 15 babies in my belly. Yes, 15!!! And a C-section was needed to prevent infection. Sadly, my water only broke because there were so many babies inside and not because they were full term. All 15 of my babies passed that day. I have spent the last 5 weeks with my foster mom, recovering and soaking up all the individual love and attention I needed to allow me to heal. Although I will never have kids of my own - I will LOVE yours. I have not met a child; big or small that I don't want to smooch, snuggle up to or run around in the backyard with. I come off a wee bit timid at the very beginning, but don't worry - it lasts maybe 3 minutes and then I fully believe everyone wants to pet me and tell me how beautiful I am. Where I came from, dogs were not the kindest to me which has left me very nervous around other dogs currently. I have been working hard at gaining confidence and trusting not every dog will come after me. I do not have any aggression towards dogs - I do not bark or snarl at them, I simply become very afraid and want to walk the other direction. My mom tells me all the time "You can do hard things Rebel" and I believe her. With time and patience, I'd love to join a family where I have another dog to grow up with. I am learning to stay at home by myself when my mom says she needs to leave the house. Personally I dont agree, but I have come a long way in a short amount of time. If you're looking for a Grade A snuggler, I'm your gal. I could nap on the floor where its nice and cool, but I'd rather get cozy on the couch and stretch out! I am a perfect lady while out on walks. I don't pull and love to stop and smell the flowers! Apply to meet me - you won’t regret it.
