Hi, I’m Stratus ☁️ Like the cloud, fluffy and known to drift wherever I please. I’m 3 months old and a professional at being adorable. Out of my litter of five, I was always the independent one, exploring solo even as a 4 day old while my siblings piled together like sensible potatoes. I’m also the only one without blue eyes, hazel for me, because somebody had to bring some variety. My foster mom isn’t supposed to play favorites, but between us, I’m hers. Don’t tell my siblings. I live with my foster sister, a pug who is now somehow smaller than me, which I find hilarious and she finds deeply unfair. She’s my favourite person to wrestle and annoy, whether she agrees with that or not. I’m also fully in my shark phase, so fair warning: shoes, fingers, and couch corners are all chew toys to me right now. But with redirection I’m also happy to chew on ACTUAL chew toys because I’m smart like that! I’m clumsy, always cheerful, and pretty hilarious about it, but after a long day of chaos I’m just as happy curled up as a big fluffy cuddle bug. I’m basically house trained at this point, I just need someone paying attention. Let me out every couple hours, watch for me wandering toward the door, and I’ll take it from there. Now let’s talk about my real claim to fame: kennel life. I sleep straight through the night in my crate, no whining, no fuss, not a single peep. I’ll admit I’m not perfect yet, when my people leave the house I bark it out for a few minutes, but then I settle right down and nap it off like the professional I am. I’m also very food motivated, which my foster mom says makes me a dream to train. I’ve already got “sit” and “down” down cold, and I’m working on “roll over” and “stay” now. I love all dogs, I love all people, I’m basically incapable of meeting a stranger I don’t like. My foster mom says I’m very special, and she’s loved me since I could fit in one hand. So if you choose me, take good care of me, I promise laughs, cuddles, and a whole lot of love. ❤️
