I bet you’ve been looking for a puppy with all things puppy- clumsiness, sweetness, silliness, curiosity?! But minus the teeny size and accidents?! Well Hi, nice to meet you, I’m Teeny! .. like a teeny bear. I was living outside with my sisters so I’ve been learning puppy etiquette when I am a “teeny” bit older, so my foster mom says I’m like an oversized puppy. But I LOVE food so I have good motivation and I’ve been learning so much. I’m a shepherd mix, about 47 lbs of fluff and sweetness. I love everyone, and while I do like young kids/babies (I’m currently fostered with them), I’m best suited for a home with older kiddos (or a patient family willing to continue helping me be the best me and understanding I’ve been working on not jumping with excitement and trying to remember not to play/ask for attention/get excited with my teeth). It’s hard not to be excited about life though. Have you seen toy boxes?! Endless toys, so cool! Chews are a favorite! Fetch is fun as well as keep away - if it’s something I’m not supposed to have and I know it- silly me, I always give myself away by grabbing and running fast and that’s when my foster parents know I took something I shouldn’t! Tug is fun also but I’m a little lazy with tug and lay down and use my body weight and make you do the work. I settle so nice once I’m comfortable and prefer to be close. All this fluff keeps me from cuddling too much- I think I’d over heat! So closeness is my cuddling. Now that I’ve experienced house life, I can’t be bothered to ask to go out much, however when I am out I patiently sit on the deck and wait. I don’t ask to come in, so keep your eye out for me! I’m doing great with the kennel thing- nights are great. I’ve been sleeping like a baby and during day times, if treats are involved, I will go in willingly. The odd time I will tell you I’m not happy, but I settle down quick. Other things I’m working on are not to tug on the leash during walks, keeping my paws off the counter and learning dog toys vs household items/kids toys. My fur-foster doesn’t play much and I respect that and keep myself busy by chewing my toys, relaxing or playing with the humans, but I’m persistent asking him to play! A patient playmate would be amazing but I’d do well as an only dog too. However I don’t know what cats are! My coat is much like a Chow Chow so brushing requirements are a little more high maintenance than your typical Shepherd mix! I’ve always got a smile on my face, foster mom says I’m one of the prettiest girls ever. I think you’d love to meet me!
